Why Even Children's Toys Must Be Insured

It seems that nothing is taboo to Britain's criminals as new figures show the importance of taking out home insurance for children's toys and care equipment.

Research from Halifax home insurance shows that nearly one in four families with children under the age of five have fallen victim to theft in the last year alone - with everything from buggies and clothes to even nappies stolen.

Children's bikes are the top target for opportunist thieves - they account for 18 per cent of all thefts from families with children under five. Garden play equipment, including paddling pools, were the subject of 16 per cent of the thefts, while even cuddly toys and stuffed animals accounted for eight per cent of the items taken by callous thieves.

Having their favourite toys stolen can be heartbreaking for youngsters, which is why parents have been urged to take out suitable home insurance cover so they can afford to replace the items should a theft take place. Many designer prams cost more than 600 and Wendy houses can cost in excess of 400 - leaving parents seriously out of pocket if a theft takes place.

Parents should ensure their home contents policies are up to date to cover these items should they be taken - and they should also look at where they are covered too.

The statistics show that restaurants and gardens are a fertile ground for thefts so make sure your policy includes items taken from a public place. Keep a watchful eye out for criminals, don't leave items unattended and take advantage of any safety locks that may be provided.

If your home insurance policy does not cover items in public areas then search for one that does - you can compare home insurance online with a comparison website to find a more suitable deal.

Seven Website Sales Page Drivers

The basics of the website sales page or squeeze page are the most abused and poorly done part of a website. Most people think they have to overkill with information and add gizmo's for that snazzy look. WRONG!!! In fact just the opposite is TRUE. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that you must get the visitor to easily navigate to your offer. PERIOD. You must have your visitors take specific action when they visit your site. You've gone to the effort to drive targeted traffic to your site and now you have to make it pay off. Follow these SEVEN basic sales page drivers to get more clicks to your offers.

1. Stress the benefits of owning your product or getting your offer. That doesn't mean features. You've either created or addressed a problem. Emphasize your main benefit in your headline, and then give other benefits in solid bullet points.

2. Include Testimonials. Always tell your visitor or potential buyer what other satisfied buyers say about your product.

3. Use a guarantee. You want the visitor to feel they have zero risk by trying your product or offer. Make sure the visitor knows there is a money back guarantee attached to it.

4. Give your visitor a command to action. Tell your visitor to buy or subscribe to your offer NOW.

5. Tell your visitor how to buy. This is where you can add one gizmo. That gizmo is the order button and should be near the bottom of your page or offer.

6. Make your sales or squeeze page short as can be but still move the visitor to action. Make it passionate, make it personal but DO NOT make it boring. Get the visitor to move to action.

7. Always make your site easy to navigate. Compelling headline. Restatement of a problem. The benefits of using your product and then buy NOW.

That's it. These are basic principles. If need be, look at your competition or niche markets and see what works. You've seen the bad sites, you know bad when you see it. You can also read a book about copywriting. If you are not getting your visitors to buy your product, chances are your offer is not compelling. Good Luck.
