The best thing about blogging is that there are no rules. You can write about anything you want. A self-publisher's dream! There are some things you can do though to maximize your Google AdSense profits. Narrow your subject. It is better to steer clear of vague keywords when writing your blogs. Write about shopping for plus size clothing, or designer handbags instead of just shopping. Make every effort to write every day as well. You should create blogs at more than one site too, because if you develop a readership, you are more likely to increase your AdSense income and your profits.
Write about something you know or want to know or something you have more than just a passing interest in. If you try to write a great blog based on a great keyword, but it is something you do not really care about, you will most likely not stay with it long. Experiment and see what works for you. You can write based on your own opinion or something factual. You can review a product or service or a movie.
Read other people's blogs and make a note of how many people are reading them, or at the very least, how much feedback they are getting. Above all, have fun. After all, most blogs are free and if you are persistent you will see your Google AdSense income growing.
People still like to read other people's blog online. You would think that in today's world of 200 channel satellite TV, movies, and games, that people would not have time to read long blogs, but that is not true. It all depends on the level of interest that the person has in the subject. Well-written blogs can captivate your audience and turn them into raving fans. These days, you will have to moderate comments to keep out spammers and perverts but if you do so, your readers will come back time and again to see what others have to say about the subject they really love.
