If the reputation of the dealer is not good then it is not suggested to make dealings with him. Instead, the person should find another dealer or private seller who would provide him with better deal to buy the car.

Car auctions are also a good way to buy old and used cars. But the person should stay within his limits while making a bid. The person should first examine the condition of the car to be auctioned and then only make bids. The bids must not exceed the worth of the used car. If it does then the person will only waste his money of a piece of junk. Used cars must be fully checked before buying and should not be paid more than they are worth of.
